thats great and nice!!!
Yeah, drugs are difficult business. My family and me took up gold-mining too.
True and another coincidence is that my Cats name is Cosmos lol
According to a 2009 article in The Telegraph, UK, it's street price was lower then lager and wine.
Probably because of the words gold and mining.
Ummm how did i end up here if i was looking at Minecraft videos?
U.S. citizens should be planted coca in their gardens 3:D HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA XD
I'm pretty sure cocaine is worth more than gold.
"most illegal mining is characterized by the small size of its operations."
You are entirely ignorant on this subject, as you do not care to educate yourself regarding the massive pollution of the water and ecosystems caused by gold miners.
Remain ignorant. I have no vested interest in spoon feeding you or your stupid choices.
.
This "discussion" is terminated.
"LEGALLY and illegally" - One of the main criteria used to define illegal mining is the absence of land rights, mining license, exploration or mineral transportation permit or of any document that could legitimize the on-going operations. True, legal small-scale artisanal mining exists in many countries alongside large-scale mining. Nevertheless, most illegal mining is characterized by the small size of its operations. Large-scale illegal mining operation is a very unusual.
it can be done without mercury, by simply collecting the gold dust.
mercury is the quick and dirty way, a bit quicker and easier, but terribly dirty.
You cannot really melt gold dust using such a blowtorch, because it would blow it away. You need a more expensive oven for that. But you can sell gold dust as it is.
Basically, mercury just adds a bit of convenience, and blowtorch + mercury is cheaper than an oven. But is it necessary to use mercury? Definitively not.
You appear to be blissfully unaware that the video is NOT about mining corporations, and I was not speaking of them.
How about you drink more of that Brazilian water, MecurroBrain.
whoa that journalist is a bad ass crossing the crock infested river like is nothing
"you an bigger ignorant"
Looks like you're in need of an education.
wrong sir. quicksilver is not the same compound as a pure mercury compound. quicksilver is a compound mixed with other minerals, since in this case the mercury compound is found in nature and thus mixed with other minerals it is NOT absorbed through the skin.
@flowermamabee, this might be true for pure mercury, but as this is found in nature it is mixed with other minerals and it will not be absorbed by the skin. the only danger is inhaling the potentional gasses which is unlikely in this case.
you an bigger ignorant , of course there going to dump , they dont know what they're doing, educate !
Mining corporations don't use mercury anymore, rather it is used by the thousands of small-scale miners in 3rd world countries. The US is one of the largest exporters of elemental mercury which is why the Mercury Export Ban Act signed into law October 2008 prohibits its export beginning Jan 2013.
That must have been some time ago because the spot price I found was $2000 per flask x 74.2 flasks (50 gal) = $148,000/ barrel.
That's good news--now I can ignore the FDA tuna calculator and eat all I want.
the ignorant fucks are going to poison themselves and everything in the river.
The Gold Miner's Mercury and other poisonous chemicals in the once fresh water has caused significant damage to the drinking and washing water of Columbia and many other Countries in South and Central America where there are Gold Miners.
These and other Gold MIners are LEGALLY and illegally destroying entire Country's in Central and South America.
fresh water supply and related ecosystems.
just what I was going to say, but even more unpopular than that, I would suggest not bothering with owning property in preference to cooperating and sharing communally. Voluntarily of come, it never works when forced upon people. One has to see the sense of it, and be truly tired of the suffering " civilization" causes.
You are wrong.
Mercury can be absorbed through the skin. Mercury can enter the body through inhalation, ingestion and skin absorption.
I worked in the medical field and saw 2 children die from playing in an abandoned warehouse that had 50 gallon barrels of mercury. They touched it with their hands and stuck them in the barrel because it looked neat to them since it looks metal but was in liquid form. They both died in less than 3 days.
putting mercury into the river system isnt !. That is f'd up. wiki Mercury_poisoning |
