@frostylala141 You are right. Last year I was in Colombia three times. I rented a car and travelled 2000 km without a problem. Last time I travelled by plane from Bucaramanga to Bogota and than to private Hacienda Diamante in Villeta without a problem. If you stay away from Venezuela and Equador border you are safe. I love Colombia and going there in November again. Next year I am moving there to live and help people. I am Polish living in Canada.

@hidri5 Just cause u might of seen a movie or read 1 book does not mean Colombia is the most Dangerous place in the universe, There are lots more countrys Dangerous then colombia, e.g: Middle eastern countries, South america (excluding colombia). Every country is dangerous, but you have to use your mind, My Relatives have lived in colombia for all there lives all my ansestors, And they have never ever had problems there. Where do you live?

@HeLovesCulture Hey, Im glad to hear you want to visit colombia. I came to bogota a couple of years ago and now im living here. I recomend you go to the same hotel I stayed at. Many hotel websites recomend staying downtown but the best of bogota is further north. the best parks, the best restaurants, and just overall its pretier up north. Haha trust me guys. The only risk really is wanting to stay. Honestly once you get there you won't want to leave. Ok one other risk maybe, the drivers are a little crazy :P

Bogotá = Amabilidad?. JAJAJAJAJA, Colombiano que se respete sabe que eso NO es cierto, pero en general los colombianos somos pasion, ser colombiano es un milagro, vivi 28 años en Colombia y no tuve la oportunidad de viajar por ella porque las tarifas de vuelo son muy costosas, inalcansables para el 70% de los colombianos, acá en europa viajo de un pais a otro en menos de 10 euros ida y vuelta, mi Colombia es hermoso, lo unico malo es su gobierno, Colombia es pasion, el riesgo es quedarse!.

@hidri5 Many people don't go to Colombia because they say theres a lot of violence, yes there is violence but they dont see these videos and not all Colombia is full of drug lords and stuff. Mexico has the most violent city in the world but not everyone knows that so thats why more people go to Mexico I'm Colombian and I love my country and I think Mexico and Colombia are really similiar but Colombia is #1 (:

@erickr1150r well my dear that can happen to you in Bogota, NY, London, Paris... any big city of the world that unfortunately happened to you ... an aweful experience, but dont let it damage your idea of the city itself or the country actually, if you vist it , you can tell the magical energy that you can feel there apart from the bad stuff that been honest happens anywhere... Im from Bogota, i live in bogota and its wonderful as the rest of my beautiful country
